Unfortunately, the remote flew out of my hand at a weird angle and... um... hit Jack in the leg.

It didn't hurt him in the least, but he was convinced, convinced that I'd purposely thrown it at him. And for reasons known only to the Gods, the whole thing struck me (pun) as hilarious, and I just started cracking up. Which made Jack even angrier, and the angrier he got, the more tickled I became.

It's really, really hard to get someone to accept an apology when there are tears of helpless laughter streaming down your face.

Regardless, congrats on 13 years! (An auspicious number, no?) I wish you 13-to-the-Nth happy more.Evnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11248710048578201683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4595492831645409150.post-80329012646719334502009-09-16T23:35:07.244-05:002009-09-16T23:35:07.244-05:00I totally agree. It's easy to get ranty when you are passionate about something and someone makes off handed remarks that they think are "funny".

I've found that often when someone blames crass humor, it's because they know that they said something that would offend others, and they're just making an excuse.KrisMrsBBradleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14988742743150495260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4595492831645409150.post-39707765744537258492009-06-15T15:19:34.819-05:002009-06-15T15:19:34.819-05:00I have heard several theories on the subject. One...I have heard several theories on the subject. One theory is the alternate universe theory where these people are actively involved in our lives. Another theory is the past lives theory where these people where connected to us closely and we still feel that instant vibration.

I have had this happen to me more than a few times. The last time it happened was how I met my fiance. I had just put up a myspace page to help publicize my writing and I was randomly paging through people on myspace inviting people to check out my writing etc. Suddenly I spotted this picture and everything went into what sounds like a roar in the air, this happened a couple times before I don't know how else to describe it. Then after the roar, I felt this instant need to know who this person was. I made a comment on his blog and literally paced all day waiting for him to return my message. I never heard from him but checked his page literally daily trying to know everything about this person. Finally after weeks of this cyber stalking (LOL), he wrote a message on a bulletin that said simply, "I'm bored, come talk to me". I of course jumped and msged him right away and we talked all night. About 3 weeks later he IMed me and asked me to marry him! We met in real life about a month after that, and then he moved cross country to live with me two months after that. That was a year and a half ago and we are completely in love and planning our wedding. All that from an instant spark with a picture that somehow ignited that spark from the millions of other faces....DEBORAH REUTELERhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10624694716614982833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4595492831645409150.post-50786341605041915102009-02-08T16:11:00.000-06:002009-02-08T16:11:00.000-06:00When we moved into our home I was outside digging ...When we moved into our home I was outside digging the backyard to make some fantastic gardens and I dug up a bottle full of pins, rusty nails, hair, and some photos.
